We're growing fast which means we're always hiring! Like most families, we have a good spectrum of personalities and are eager to welcome new ones. Our hiring process is a bit more extensive than a simple application to make sure we're building rockstar teams. If you're interested in any of our positions, follow these steps for success!
Step 1: Check out our Core Values
Having employees that hold themselves and each other to these core values is how we're able to bring the highest quality of craftsmanship to all sectors of JCP. Be sure your values and behaviors align with these before you decide to try and join the team!
Intentional - Are you doing everything with a specific intention?
Result - Are you goal-oriented and executing? - Get IT Done -
Discipline - Do the things you DON'T want to do.
Accountability - Hold each other to the same standard.
Inspirational - Do everything with the highest integrity level.
Step 2: Fill Out An Online Application!
You can find applications for all of our open positions here on our website or on Indeed! Read the job description for the position you're interested in to be sure it's the right fit for you. Completely answer all questions in a professional tone and include a résumé.
Step 3: Complete a Skills Assessment
If you're selected to move on in the hiring process, our hiring manager will send you a skills assessment form! Complete this form and do so honestly. Don't be afraid to admit that you're less experienced in certain areas. If hired, at your 90-day mark, you can fill out another skill sheet. If we can see improvement
since your initial assessment, you'll have an easy time negotiating a raise.
Step 4: Be Patient
All applications move to a "holding tank" for two weeks while applications are forwarded and reviewed by the company's owner and department managers. If accepted, you'll get a call from the owner or a manager to talk about getting started! If your application was not selected, we keep applications on file for six months. We are rapidly growing so there may be an opportunity in the near future. If so, we will reach back out and see if you are still interested.
Step 5: Come in for a Field Test
All field positions require an in-the-field interview before their official first day. This is where we can really put those core values and skills to the test. While this is a great opportunity for us to see if you're a right fit, it's also a great opportunity for you to determine if we're the right fit for you! All office positions will be invited to
come in before their first day for onboarding.
Step 6: Welcome To The Team!
If you impress us in the field, you're in! Whether you'll be working on the job sites or behind the scenes in the offices, our crews are always happy to have a new helping hand on the team!
